combined media/painting on canvas
200×150 cm

“The painting was created as a series of works with no particular concept, but also as a reaction to the domination of screen, media images. Each element in the painting, the materials and colours, was chosen intentionally, and employed as a part of my, in this cycle intimist, expression, thus confirming my non-interest and immediate artistic relation with the material. After decades of working on the subjects that art has recorded as “history”, losing interest for social life, and without the desire to participate in the society as a commentator of different entropies, I have turned to painting and drawing in the context of pure intimism, thus returning my new paintings to the system of art, re-entering the realm of the unjustly neglected drawing and detail.”
